We talked about Stamkos/Crosby/Ovechkin to lead off the show. The Ed called in with his continuing boycott of the show and talked some fantasy baseball, Suge Knight, and even got to chat with his successor, Ronnie. Larry talked about his Saturday night out when he saw a bit too much of a Donna Summer impersonator, and then mikedell finishes up with a conspiracy on Tupac. Hit 'em up.

Enjoy! Or Not....

We talked a lot o' hockey in the first hour. Sorry about that. Including Pens/Caps, The Phoenix Coyotes and hits to the head. The Ed stopped in several times on his trek to McDonald's. A special call from "Steeler's QB" Benlisberger. The second hour was filled with Cousin Brandon talking fantasy baseball and taking on Larry in "Bad News Bears" trivia.

LCS Hockey Show - Episode 160 - 03-17-10
LCS Hockey Radio Show
A little hockey talk to start the show, including the New Jersey Devils throwback uniforms and mikedell's obsession with editing NHL '94. The Ed called in to talk some boxing and gave in-depth biographies on Alexander Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby. And just so you're aware, Crosby has a sister. The second hour we were joined by Bob Fox, a sporstwriter who covers the Tampa Bay Lightning and Green Bay Packers. But he's also an expert on the JFK conspiracy. Good times.

Tonight's show started off a little bumpy, and got worse. Thankfully, we had Nycole do a pop culture review and The Ed called in and gave us marriage counseling. I did a drink review of Yoo-Hoo, we did an A,B,C,D,E, Eff em about bad parents, we did a "worst spacebook status of the week," and we played a Len call.

Vertically Striped Radio - Episode 42 - 03-13-10
This week, VSR introduced a new segment, "The Week in Wankery" where we ticket deserving people for being wankers.
The Whale called in from a brew pub to give us a review on the beer he was having, we also had a Magnificent 7 list of seven rules that need to be changed in the NFL along with some random hockey and NHL 94 discussion, plus Craig was getting distraught as he couldn't find the Big 12 Championship basketball game anywhere on TV, despite living in the midst of Big 12 country.
The Vertically Striped Music Recommendation was Alexi Murdoch's song "Orange Sky."

Hockey talk at the start of the show including the goings-on at the GM meetings. We talked a little NHL '94. A very sick The Ed showed up for a few minutes and played a couple songs for us on his new guitar. The second hour features mikedell's brother-in-law, Miguel, taking on Larry in some Mr. Mom trivia. We hear from 5-0. And finish up with another conspiracy segment involving a plot to install a fascist government here in the U.S.

Major Minority Report Episode 5
Heyyyy! Our grossest show yet! Tonight we talked to The Ed pretty early, and got some good music out of him. He sounds better than Justin Timberlake. We also spoke with Andrew's wife, Nycole, about pop culture, and cosmetics. We spoke with some callers about some disturbing things, and finally, gave a quick review of the movie, "Hot Tub Machine." We closed out the show with another embarassing Leonard Story. By the way, if you stream live, the show will cut off after an hour, so you missed the story. Download it to find out what happens.

Vertically Striped Radio - Episode 41 - 03-06-10
Talk about going in odd directions with a show. This one went completely off the tracks, but somehow it worked. How odd was it? Face Ventura, The Whale and I had a major in depth discussion about Admiral Ackbar. No, seriously. We did.
This show marked the debut of The Whale's intro music. We also discussed NFL Free Agency and the evils of sports bigamy. Plus Craig got all hot under the collar about Americans rooting for Canada in the Olympic Hockey Gold Medal Game.
The Ed showed up and shared a little about the District Attorney's investigation into his activities, along with the message board fights and we even got to hear him shooting hoops. Although he tried to convince me that he made a shot that sounded an awful lot like a brick.
The Vertically Striped Music Recommendation was the whimsical "The Beginning Stages Of" by The Polyphonic Spree. Despite my best intentions, there is the slightest chance that this show might actually be entertaining. Of course, your results may very.

We talked trade deadline and Olympic hockey for the first 30 minutes or so. The Ed stopped by on his way to the coroner's office as Honkey White Sucker is "allegedly" dead. We reviewed a few movies. And then we finished up with our hero Dave Dameshek. Dave stopped by to talk Survivor, The Bachelor, and self-esteem. Dave's lovely wife, Miss Cindi, even makes a brief appearance. Check out Dave's new podcast at AdamCarolla.com.
