LCS Hockey Show - Episode 263 - 02-29-12

Adam Rank makes his triumphant return to the LCS Show. The guys kibitz about all manner of things including being fat, Angelina Jolie's leg, and television. The main even with Rank is Mike Dell's Top obscure 1980's sitcoms. We are talking OBSCURE here, people. Rank spends an enjoyable 80 minutes on the show yapping it up. We'll have to see if he'll be back after the creepy way Larry says goodbye.

Larry and Dell take it to the finish talking TV and movies and even a tiny bit of hockey. Dell is slowly getting involved in The Wire, Larry does not approve.

The Super Great Internet Show - Episode 24 - 02-28-12

Mike Dell guest co-hosts on a very special edition of The SGI Show. Dell is shocked at the organization of Irv. (Which makes sense when you consider what he usually has to work with.) Irv has the show running at peak efficency, and even without Uncle Larry at the helm, it doesn't skip a beat.

Vertically Striped Radio - Episode 152 - 02-25-12

Craig fought through the Flu to bring you Episode 152. It also appeared that Siri from his iPhone was taking over the program for a moment, but mostly we just wanted to confuse Face.


Face and Craig went head to head in dueling Magnificent Seven lists where we counted down our Top 7 Movie Villains. The guys had only one villain in common, and it was most unexpected that he'd make even one list not to mention BOTH.


After the list, The Ed called in and stretched his 15 minutes into about 40. The highlight of which was his plans for working up his own plan to sterilize men for up to 5 years at a time. Lets just say it involves Super Glue, a Cap, Tin Foil, and sneaking his products onto a Wal-Mart shelf without permission...What could POSSIBLY go wrong?


Craig eventually broke down the movie that SHOULD win the Oscar for Best Picture (The Help) along with the movie that WILL win Best Picture (The Artist). He also broke down six of the other seven nominees as he's been on a bit of a Best Picture nominee watching spree.


The Vertically Striped Music Recommendation came from one of Craig's favorite groups, The Barenaked Ladies with "Maybe You're Right".

LCS Hockey Show - Episode 262 - 02-22-12

Cousin Brandon dropped in on the LCS boys. After a good 20 minutes of gabbing, Mike Dell and Brandon went head to head with their Top 11 Days in History they wish they could have experienced.


In the second half of the show, Dell and Larry talk their usual nonsense, and they even have the audacity to TALK HOCKEY for awhile! They finish up the show with Dell talking spirituality and philosophy.

No Name Show - Episode 130 - 02-19-12

The Ed was on for about 45 minutes so that should get your attention. Many people were offended with The Ed's performance, so listen at your own peril. We started off with This Day In History, talked about Tamminator's big night at the casino, and played an exciting match-up in the villain tourney. Then we had a nice trivia game between Brian and The Ed and The Ed rambled nonsensically about his political platform. Then we hung up on The Ed and did our Top 7 Best Games to Play at the Casino.

Vertically Striped Radio - Episode 151 - 02-18-12

Craig cut the show by half to see if less was in fact more. The results were inconclusive, but he and Face did get in some good conversation about how sports would be better if the athletes sounded more like wrestlers.

We also heard from The Ed who chimed in to educate us on the latest details on Jeremy Lin and also to inform us that the Beatles were from New York. Apparently, he couldn't take hearing from a fake FSU co-ed trying to seduce "Jerry Lin" because she really likes black guys.


Face and Craig finish up with a quick round of "Would you rather?" before things wrapped up with "Middle of the Night" from the well named Easten Conference Champions.

The Ed Show - Episode 162 - 02-16-12

Ed chats it up with Major Minority about Jeremy Lin. He then talks a bit of high stakes sports gambling with Li’l Jay. (Pickle loaf is high stakes, right?) Even Ed’s buddy Franklin calls in to ramble about Tim Tebow and getting drunk. Finally, Ed tries to help 1-9 find a new job. It’s a fast paced edition of the Ed Show!

LCS Hockey Show - Episode 260 - 02-15-12

Cory Seymour from BackPagePress.com spent nearly the entire show with us discussing the t-shirt business, movies, TV and his love the putrid city of Boston.

Cory also talked about his Top 11 worst t-shirt ideas.

The Ed was in the melee as well and the show wraps up with some random topics.

It was a day of emnity as Craig has a new nemesis and a Best Picture nominee that he hates.


Face and the Whale joined Craig and the VSR crew reviewed Super Bowl commercials (including a few commercials that you almost certainly did not see during the Super Bowl), gave kudos to Madonna for a decent halftime show, recounted the glory of the Holly Marie Combs Twitter Wars, passed out some yellow and red cards to deserving wankers, and helped Craig count down the Magnificent 7 most annoying mispronunciations list.


We wrapped things up with a music recommendation of "Did You Ever Look So Nice" from The Samples.

The Ed Show - Episode 161 - 02-09-12

Ed engages 1-9 in some football trivia, takes a quick break to commit a homicide, and then has a few more football questions for Dell. Dick Banks makes an appearance in the second half of the show and talks about what he’s been up to and then he jabbers on about MMA for awhile. Ed introduces his new Munkerdoo song as well. Murder, Football Trivia, MMA, and childrens music…just another day on the Ed Show.

On tonight's episode, Aaron and Big Steve will talk about the Superbowl, which literally just ended. We'll also talk a little about Big Steve's shocking experience the other day and give our lists of the Top 7 Superbowl Commercials. Then Aaron will work the next 5 hours to finish writing too long papers. It's going to be a long night.

Vertically Striped Radio - Episode 148 - 02-04-12

It was Super Bowl Eve, and Craig didn't know who to root for in Big Game 46, so he spent a good chunk of Episode 148 breaking down the Super Bowl scientifically VSR style with Face and The Whale in an attempt to figure out which team he would cheer for on Sunday. Regional accents, 1980's music videos, Tragedies, Flula, and retro logos all were prominently involved in making the decision.


Craig also talked a bit about silent discos, robbing banks, and finding the perfect euphemism for death. We also took a quick break from the Super Bowl breakdown to chat with The Ed who is still sore from both his hernia surgery and his ouster from the Dameshek.com Big Brother game. After Ed vented for a bit, we spent a little bit of time discussing the Pro Football Hall of Fame.


We wrapped up with a music recommendation from The Shins of their new single "Simple Song" from their upcoming March album release "Port of Morrow".

The Ed Show - Episode 160 - 02-02-12

Ed was fresh off a hernia surgery, and while he did his best to get through the show, he was perhaps a bit too drugged up to really be doing a show. Still, a game effort from one hell of a talk show host to try and perform mere hours after getting cut on. Worth checking out to hear a nearly incoherent Ed try to make sense of himself. 

LCS Hockey Show - Episode 258 - 02-01-12

Hour 1 is spent with Bob Fox talking Packers football and JFK conspiracies while Larry munches on Popcorn. In the second hour Mike Dell and Larry get in touch with The Ed on the eve of his hernia surgery after a bit of a scare. Ed introduces his law firm/dentist office of Miller, Miller, Miller, Miller, Miller, Miller and Associates and the boys finish off with a Top 11 of their top ladies they are ashamed to be attracted to.
