No Name Show Halloween Spooktacular Join the No Name Show for an early edition on Halloween. We'll tell scary stories, play The Match Game, give the Top 7 Halloween Tricks & Treats, and a few other things.
The Ed Show The Ed takes on the Carolla Kids, talks some Halloween, and gives his football picks. But the true highlight was a spirited reading of his original screenplay. Look out, Oscars.
LCS HOCKEY RADIO SHOW The Ed called in with some Halloween memories, candy, and a sing-along. 5-0 made his return to the show with some movie reviews and his thoughts on the Pirates. Mikedell told tale about the Black-eyed kids and shadow people and The Ed called back in to fill time.
No Name Show Karaoke Jam It's time for a little fun, a little party, and a little music. Join the No Name Nation as we entertain with song. Expect to hear from Sir Richard Hertz III, David Escalante, and all the other regulars.
After hearing news about a croc on a plane and a woman marrying herself, we decided to settle in to discuss the New York gubernatorial race...where clearly the rent is too damn high. Face and the Whale gave their thoughts on the coolest candidate I've ever seen.
We had the first round of the Super Mario Bros. music tourney with Japanese Beatboxer Hikakin going up against an Accordion version of the song.
Face and I also unveiled the Magnificent Seven: Top 7 All Time Major League Baseball hats. It pains me who I had to put at number 1.
We finished up by discussing the smartest and dumbest places in America...or at least that is how I positioned it.
The Vertically Striped Music recommendation was "My Time" from the band Minus the Bear.
LCS HOCKEY RADIO SHOW A very sick The Ed called in and was inaudible for 10 minutes. Good luck with that. Cousin Brandon then joined us to tell about a fight he witnessed, Mad Men and living with his mother. We debuted a new segment called "mikedell's Pants" and finished up with a conspiracy on Abraham Lincoln.
Mysteries Of The Great Pyramid On tonight's show we will discuss some of the unique qualities of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Who built it? Why was it built? In addition we'll have another fight in the King of Beasts tourney, the Douche of the Week, a Top 7 list, Fun with Words, and all sorts of other stuff. Feel free to call in and join the fun.
The Chilean Miners were rescued this week, and the rescue brought to light many things other than just miners who had spent 69 days underground. Things like mistresses, the Chi Chi Chi Le Le Le chant, and the fact that Face Ventura has a very loose handle on the news.
Face, the Whale and Craig talked miners for awhile, and then challenged the Blogtalk record for number of times the word "penis" was said on a show as we discussed the Brett Favre-Jenn Sterger controversy.
Finally, we broke cereal down in glorious detail and Face and I each unveiled our Magnificent Seven: Top 7 cereals list.
VSR finished up with the Vertically Striped Music Recommendation of "Stall Out" by Mute Math.
LCS Hockey Radio Show Hockey talk led the show, and then we followed with a Mad Men discussion before launching into our Top 11 TV Shows of the 2000's. The Ed finished up the show with his thoughts on what really happened to Abraham Lincoln.
Coolest Critters On tonight's episode, the No Name Show crew will discuss the coolest animals (real or imaginary) in the world. We'll also recap the Baker Waterfall Tour, discuss sports, movies, and whatever else comes up. Good times.
LCS HOCKEY RADIO SHOW Jim Iovino called in tonight and stayed through the entire show. We paid tribute to Mario Lemieux, and mikedell talked about his Top 11 Mario Lemieux goals. The Ed wanted to state his 4 "important" talking points. We debuted the world premier of Major Minority's "Tina Teabagged Him" song and finished up with our Top 11 90's TV Shows.
Welcome To Autumn The No Name Show takes an introspective look at autumn. Included in the discussion will be a review of a spectacular hike and the Top 7 Tree Species. Good times!
It was mustache appreciation day on VSR as Craig was sporting a ridiculous mustache as he did the show.
It was time once again for 80% trivia, and the callers were ready. Perhaps the questions were too easy, but three of the four callers were able to correctly get at least four of the five questions correct in the following five categories: The NFL season RIGHT NOW, Men with Mustaches, Name that Jim Carrey movie, Famous people's real names, and Name that Simpsons character. So congrats to Face Ventura, Jerry Fairish, and The Whale, and better luck next time Nalax...as he finished at 60% for the third straight edition of 80% Trivia.
In addition to the trivia, Craig also announced which team he would be supporting during the 2010 MLB playoffs...as a hint, it rhymes with "The Mampa Tay Days." We also talked a bit about Dez Bryants rather exorbitant $54,896 dinner bill and the auction currently going down on eBay for Bacon Kevin Bacon.
All in all, it was a rather full and fun day of fake radio. We topped things off with a recommendation of the song "The General" from the group Dispatch from their album "Bang Bang"
